Biogas collection system. The biogas collection system is a device that collects biogas from a biogas digester. It usually includes biogas collection covers, biogas pipelines, and biogas collection wells. The biogas collection hood is covered above the biogas tank, and the biogas is guided to the collection well through pipelines, which are then transported to the purification equipment.
Biogas dehumidification equipment. Biogas contains a large amount of water vapor, and if the moisture is not removed, it will affect the combustion effect of biogas. Therefore, dehumidification equipment is required during the purification process of biogas. Common dehumidification equipment includes condensers and adsorbents. The condenser condenses the water vapor into a liquid by lowering the temperature of the biogas, which is then discharged through a drainage pipe. Adsorbents remove water molecules from biogas by adsorbing them.
Biogas desulfurization equipment. Biogas contains harmful gases such as hydrogen sulfide, which, if not removed, can cause damage to the environment and equipment. Therefore, desulfurization equipment is required during the purification process of biogas. Common desulfurization equipment includes wet desulfurization and dry desulfurization. Wet desulfurization is achieved by contacting biogas with an alkaline solution to convert hydrogen sulfide into sodium sulfide or calcium sulfide, and then removing it through precipitation or filtration. Dry desulfurization involves contacting biogas with an adsorbent to adsorb hydrogen sulfide, and then regenerating the adsorbent.
Biogas compression equipment. After purifying biogas, it can be compressed into high-pressure biogas through compression equipment for better storage and transportation. Common compression equipment includes compressors and gas storage tanks. The compressor compresses biogas into high-pressure biogas by increasing its pressure. Gas storage tanks are used to store compressed biogas for subsequent use.
In addition to the above equipment, some auxiliary equipment such as pumps, valves, pipelines, etc. are also required during the biogas purification process to transport and control the flow of biogas.
